EPIC INTRO FILMING COMPLETE + MORE HUGE NAMES ADDED TO THE DVD!!!

Today we went to New Symerna Beach, FL at a Airstrip/Hanger to film the last scene for our EPIC Skittin Across America Intro for the DVD, and trust me the shots we filmed today are hilarious and are just going to make this DVD that much better. I can't wait to get feedback from this DVD once it's finished, it's going to be amazing!

We are going to be announcing in a few days MORE HUGE TALENTS that are going to be added to this DVD. They filmed some video narratives for the DVD this past weekend, and will be sending it to us this week, and trust us you know this guys and they are just more names to add to the stacked list of our massive Skittin Across America DVD!

It's coming...very soon...be patient...your world will change!

Status of Skittin Across America

For those that don't know I just finally began editing Skittin Across America Monday. I know your probably saying, "BUT YOU WENT ON THAT TRIP BACK IN JULY, AND YOUR JUST NOW STARTING TO EDIT IT?!?!!"...Don't fret, there is reason to this madness.

1.) I moved, and that took up alot of time.
2.) Good DVD's require an editing outline of sorts, and that took some time.
3.) I'm still trying to find a good charity to get the proceeds of this thing to, but it's a lot harder than you probably think!
4.) We're trying to gather good music for this thing, which is taking a lot of time.
5.) We just got done with the narration footage last Thursday, and we still have some more additional scenes to film. We have an intro scene that's going to blow your mind! In a funny blowing up kinda way.
6.) I'm trying to get publicity on our Story, and it's harder than I thought. I mean it's a really good story, does anyone know a media outlet that may be interested in covering it?

But yea, so I finally have started editing it, and it's kinda scary. Scary in that this is such an amazing project that I have in my hands that I'm now editing, and I want to make sure that I make it AMAZING! But roughly 20 mins into the DVD at a very raw state, it's looking pretty awesome. Can't wait till I can say It's all done and now we can have a DVD Release Party, by the way that's also in the planning ;)

On our way to Los Angeles!

That's right the Wooden Steel boys are on their way to Los Angeles, a 40+ hour train ride is ahead of us and then we film our Los Angeles leg of the Skittin Across America trip.

Today one of our stops on our train was Chicago and we had time to go out and film in the city, it was really awesome!

We can't wait to show the World our Skittin Across America DVD, and hopefully make a great impact on a charity! DAY ONE COMPLETE!!!

After a grueling, sleepless train right to Philly (over 12 hours, which wont even be our longest)...it all paid off. Day one in Philadelphia was more amazing than we could have imagined. We met up with Raab early in the day, filmed an amazing sketch then had the awesome opportunity to meet up with Jess Margera from CKY recording music in the studio with his new band "Viking Skull", and we had a chance to sit and talk with him about his current project. Then that's when it got crazy! Lets just say we had a good time with Raab in the only way he knew how, which led us downtown wearing life preservers and crazy costumes. You'll be able to see all of this on the Skittin Across America DVD, and much more! It's only day one, it can only get better from here!

Months and months of preparation has finally paid off, Skittin Across America is here. Thanks to everyone that came out to our Bon Voyage event last night at The Toy World in Lake Wales. We're leaving today from Winter Haven, FL and going straight to Philly to shoot with Mr. Raab Himself from Viva La Bam! 12 Hour Telethon + MTVu

We had our 12 Hour Telethon last night and it was a major success!!! We were featured the entire day on Stickam.com and gained a lot of exposure for Skittin Across America, as well as many donations! Pictures will be up soon from the Telethon, and video was taken that will be featured on the Skittin Across America DVD. Thank you to everyone who tuned in, it was our last webcast until September 4th, because we are putting our ENTIRE focus towards Skittin Across America. We will still be broadcasting live from LA on July 26th from NowLive.com Studios and July 27th from TheStream.TV Studios, plus streaming our entire trip on SkittinAcrossAmerica.com

We are trying to work with MTVu network for our Skittin Across America project because they are looking for College aged students who are documenting something big this summer with a good purpose. Steel Stock was a HUGE Success!!!

Last night's "Steel Stock 2008" Event was a huge Success!!! Over 100 people came out to enjoy the amazing acts of the evening Terra Terra Terra, Black in the Mind, Denounce the Betrayer and The Fall Affair. Everyone truly enjoyed all the various kinds of music that we smashed together for this event. We wanted to bring all different kinds of music together for this event to make one special event, and that's exactly what happened. We raised over $500 towards the Skittin Across America project, which is really awesome! Thank you all who came out and thank you to all of the bands who contributed their time, hopefully we can make Steel Stock 2009 even bigger!!!

We're takin' a train...

Yep, that's right we have come to a decision this past weekend due to high gas prices and the fact that we want to be able to for sure make all of our destinations on time we will be traveling the country via train! We are very excited about this because it will also give us more time in Los Angeles and Philadelphia!
